Premium Ghostwriting Is Expensive.

Today, I'd like to write about Ghostwriter Sticker Shock.

Here's what happens: I have a wonderful call with a potential client. 

We connect about their story and vision for their book; I explain my process and how I'd approach their unique project. I talk about the value of doing a writing sample ahead of time and we explore some timelines.

Everyone is excited.

Then comes the fee talk.

I am an incredible value. And yet, the number itself can be pretty eye-opening no matter how it is broken up, and I want to publicly (and regularly) acknowledge this fact. 

I understand that premium book ghostwriting services from an author with twenty years of experience are not for everyone. 

📖 Creating a book generally requires an intense, six to ten months-long relationship. 

📖 It requires sensitivity, skill, flexibility, intuition and responsiveness.

📖 It's a big deal, the work we'll do together. 

📖 The book has to be excellent, and the process itself should be fun. 

And it is. But first comes the sticker shock moment. Yeoh!
